CANADA STUDY PERMIT

A Canada Study Permit allows international students to study at a Designated Learning Institution (DLI) in Canada. It also opens pathways to work opportunities and permanent residency after graduation.

Eligibility

  • Acceptance Letter: Must have an offer from a recognized DLI in Canada.
  • Financial Proof: Show funds to cover tuition, living expenses, and return travel.
  • Medical & Character: May require medical exams and police clearance.
  • Intent: Must prove intent to study temporarily and follow permit conditions.

Application Steps

  1. Secure admission from a DLI.
  2. Apply online through IRCC with all required documents.
  3. Pay the application fee and attend an interview (if required).
  4. Receive your Study Permit and travel to Canada.

After Arrival

  • Maintain full-time enrollment at your DLI.
  • Work part-time (up to 20 hours/week) if eligible.
  • Renew or extend your study permit before it expires.
Tip: Graduates may qualify for the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) to gain Canadian work experience.
