The UK Student Visa (formerly Tier 4 Visa) allows international students to study at approved educational institutions in the United Kingdom. It covers a wide range of courses — from undergraduate and postgraduate degrees to English language programs and vocational training.

• Study full-time at a licensed student sponsor (university, college, or institution).
• Stay in the UK for the duration of your course plus additional time after completion.
• Work part-time (up to 20 hours/week) during term and full-time during holidays.

Eligibility Criteria

• Have a valid Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) from a licensed UK institution.

• Show proof of sufficient funds to cover tuition and living expenses.
• Meet health and character requirements and hold valid TB test results (if applicable).

Application Process

• Receive an offer and CAS from a recognized UK education provider.
• Apply online for the Student Visa within 6 months before your course start date.
• Pay the visa fee (£490) and the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS).
• Submit biometric information at a visa application center.
• Receive a decision within approximately 3 weeks (outside UK).
